The good news is that incomplete resection of this particular tumor may not greatly affect outcome. Because it is the job of the liver to metabolize and detoxify, the tumors respond to very few treatments medically. If there is significant tumor left, I would suggest finding a board-certified surgeon to remove the remainder if possible.
