Brief Bio (include professional interests, hobbies, etc.):
I grew up in Mexico City, learning Spanish at a young age. I returned to the US to complete a BS in Animal Science at Cornell University in 1990. I graduated from the U of WI-Madison in 1994 and practiced exclusively dairy medicine for 4 years. In 1998, I relocated to Massachusetts and transitioned into small animal practice. Since then, I worked in Seattle, WA and then returned to MA, to then move most recently to WI. In 2013, I completed my acupuncture certification through IVAS. I currently work at an AAHA hospital in Prairie du Sac, where I incorporate acupuncture into my conventionally managed cases where appropriate.
