Lorena is a successful canine behavior specialist, Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Trainer and Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, who is accredited by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She is a full Dog Training member of the Pet Professional Guild, an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen-approved evaluator, a facilitator with Doggone Safe’s “Be a Tree” Program, teaching dog safety and bite prevention to schoolchildren, as well as a Licensed Family Paws Parent Education Presenter, enabling safety for families with dogs.
With degrees in Aeronautical Science & Electrical Engineering, Lorena’s combined her knowledge of science with her passion for animal behavior, resulting in the formation of Waggers Dog Works- focused on training dogs and their people using force-free methods in the Orlando area since 2004.
