I'm a veterinarian in College Station, TX, retired from Texas A&M, with an interest in introducing veterinary students to the emerging field of Conservation Medicine, which promotes an interdisciplinary, systemic approach to global health by investigating the links between human, animal and ecosystem health. We conduct summer workshops (www.marvet.org) to introduce this theme to veterinary students in the context of marine ecosystems.
