    The focus of this presentation is owner-directed aggression of dogs including why it happens, how to work through the problem, and multimodal therapy considerations including behavior modification and medications.

    Dr. Christensen discusses the case of Baxter - a 1 year old mixed breed dog - that began showing signs of aggression 2 weeks after being adopted. He displayed signs of aggression when being petted, on the bed, on leash, when approached while eating, and when family members yelled at him.
