Immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) is an autoimmune condition where the body's immune system attacks and destroys its own red blood cells. This disease can seemingly manifest suddenly and severely and, as such, is an important cause of mortality in affected dogs. This program brings together the perspectives and expertise of specialists in both veterinary emergency and critical care and internal medicine to empower caretakers to make informed decisions regarding the care and management of dogs diagnosed with IMHA.

Presenters:

- John Loftus, PhD, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM and Nutrition)
- Jethro Forbes, DVM, DACVECC
