Veterinarians support the end-of-life needs of numerous animal species in a variety of care settings. It is imperative that we understand the differences between euthanasia, slaughter, and depopulation, as well as the emerging field of animal hospice.

In this live and interactive webinar Dr. Kathleen Cooney - a Diplomate of the American College of Animal Welfare and Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian - will explore current norms in end-of-life veterinary care, with an emphasis on defining suffering and what it takes to align with what animal caregivers expect and what animals need to have a good death.
