VetVine Client Care

This question was submitted during a past webinar titled The Itchy Dog:
Question:
Can vaccines cause skin allergies?
Answer by: Andrew Hillier, BVSc, MANZCVS, DACVD
Very rarely – usually if there is a reaction to regular annual preventative vaccines it manifests as hives and these typically occur within minutes to hours of the injection. If this occurs the veterinarian should be informed immediately!
