Focal Seizures After A Grand Mal Seizure

Is it common after a grand mal seizure for a dog to have focal seizures? I think my dog had a couple of focal seizures yesterday after a grand mal.

Yes this might occur. Focal seizures can occur either before a generalized or sometimes can occur as a cluster following generalized activity.
