Dr. E'Lise Christensen - a veterinary behavior expert - sat down with us to discuss crib biting and wood chewing in horses: why horses do these behaviors, possible causes, and various adjustments to consider to prevent or curb these behaviors. Her discussion included information revealed from a study of the efficacy of capsaicin as an equine repellent for chewing wood:
