Approach to the Patient with Head or Spinal Trauma

CE Event Information

  • Description:
The approach to a patient with head or spinal trauma can be quite challenging, as time is of the essence when interventions can make a difference. This presentation will include current standards of care, as well as treatments that have fallen out of favor, or have been shown to be detrimental to our canine and feline head and spinal trauma patients. A thorough approach to stabilization diagnostics, and treatment of the small animal patient with head and spinal trauma will be discussed.
